... French, what was happening and once again, some characters in these scenes were not real people. The special effects were stunning including entering an octagonal room which revolved and lowered one level for you to depart. Just like the ride at Luna Park but much slower.

Les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde was another show we enjoyed which was the story of Merlin and King Arthur. The dramatization is unbelievably amazing with a whole set of the round table rising up from a lake and then a man riding a horse appearing from within it. We could not work out how some of these amazing effects were achieved. Singing and narration are often included in these shows as well.
Sunday morning in Blaye and early start at parking ticket expires at 08:08 and I wasn't sure if barrier would lift!
Anyway there were spaces outside and breakfast in the morning sunshine was delightful.

... motorcyclists they were - well today we were cursing at these two cars who refused to move out of our way and at 120km we kind of needed them to - guess what - the two offending vehicles were British drivers in British cars!!!
Having said all that when we decided to stop for something to eat we indicated right and moved to turn right - someone over took us as we were due to turn and someone under took us on the grass verge!!! Interesting!

Wrong! .... having ridden the 15k into Rennes yesterday morning and catching a local TER train we are now in Nantes and it is still cold and rainy! So we have decided to stay yet another day here to give both the weather and my cold another day to improve. We've had a quiet day of sightseeing and a nice 'Plat du Jour' late lunch so we have bunkered down ...
