We might have a Eurail Global pass which covers all rail travel throughout Europe, but it does not cover the cost of reservation of seats on fast trains and that is compulsory. Needless to say, even the boneheads at Garmin can't differentiate the standard of one D road to another, neither can I. It could be brilliant or a complete patchwork quilt, it's a lottery.
