This had been a day in which we had entered a world devoid of gentleness and compassion, a world in which astonishing brutality and inhumanity were the norm. On top of that, we had got lost, got wet, failed in a key objective and began to suspect that Red was not well. But in the end, kindness and hospitality, generously offered and sincerely meant, made all the difference.That is all it takes.

To top it all off, Polish volleyball players beat the team from Argentina 3:0 in sets, which means we regained our high standing in the group. Two more group competition games and then quarterfinals. God willing!
