... again 5kms before Cadca, with no stopping until nightfall. ... it, apparently there are two Hotel Cieszynski's here and our bags were at the second one! Daily rituals done then headed back to the town square for a meal, at the same "Iced Coffee" cafe but had a beer this time, Lana always goes for the non-alcoholic beer but I had a wheat beer, a local speciality and damn nice! ... good! The band has gone but now they're playing records out there with a very old DJ! Had dinner here at the hotel, it's our last night in the Czech Republic as tomorrow night we'll be just over the border in Poland. Observation: have not seen any cigarette vending machines in the Czech Republic, they were everywhere in Germany, Austria & Hungary. And there are fewer smokers here, hotels like this one don't allow smoking anywhere inside, or outside, on their ...
... Well she saved me from most of the hurt. I've had this weird calm understanding about my life and what had happened to my sister and i. I just didn't feel the hurt that most think i should or would feel. But i will say this trip has been very eye opening for me. I discovered that i am part Polish and Austrian on my grandfathers side. I didn't think i had Polish roots. That was pretty incredible. I did find out that my great grandfather was an SS officer in the German ...
... butter and dill, cucumber salad with sour cream, and had some leftover goulash to go with it. Heaven!
To top it all off, Polish volleyball players beat the team from Argentina 3:0 in sets, which means we regained our high standing in the group. Two more group competition games and then quarterfinals. God willing!
