    For the first time this week we woke to rain – but it didn't matter too much as we were leaving to go home. The coach came to collect us on time and after fetching other travellers from local hotels, we arrived at Luqa Airport in good time for our flight home.     ... the opponent’s balls out of the way. It made for interesting viewing for a while, then we strolled back & snoozed on the balcony.

    Dinner that night had a Maltese theme so it was a good introduction to the place. Our fears about half-board were completely removed as the buffet was excellent: many choices of salad, 2 of soup, about 6 main courses, multiple side dishes and lots of desserts, all washed ...

    Today sees us leaving Witton Gilbert with Passports! Vicky took us to Durham Station and then we caught the train and bus to Manchester Airport! The whole journey went very smoothly, with the exception of lugging large cases up and down stairs at York but hey ho! Very early in Airport - 1hr before gate opened. Looking forward to being frisked by Si but he's in Teneriffe! Both well and now waiting for Gate to open and signing off for next ...
