      ... boring because there was always a new narrow alleyway that led to a new bridge over a new little canal. By the time we reluctantly got in Illaria's car (she offered to pick us up on her way home from Trieste) we felt like we had just sampled the city and that there was plenty left to see and do for another trip. I don't think I could ever get bored of Venice, I can't wait to go back and see more! But for now it's time to prepare for the Bardolino triathlon on Saturday. What fun that will ...
