    ... to pick up Karin's mother who is coming to stay so I booked lunch for us at the Hermitage in the Col d'Eze which was a good choice as it was a beautiful setting and great food. A bit off the beaten track so a lot less crowded than anything on the coast and with easy parking. Karin and Mark took all the photos so I guess they will be for the next blog. Ok, the bell chimes twenty four times each day, some of these seemingly random, but we discover the church was built in the thirteen hundreds, nearly as old as the unassuming little grey church nearby that just happens to be two centuries older than its larger neighbour.
