    ... site which is aimed at families, so there were a lot of children and young people around ( shock, horror!) Luckily there is a separate area just for MH's which was peaceful and quiet. The site is across the road from the sea at Ravenoville Plage, so it got very misty and foggy and we began to wonder if we had done the right thing.........

    We went to check out the MH Aire, which is right on the riverbank, opposite the campsite.

    we wandered around the town, went into the church and tried to find the Tourist Office to find out about Cycle paths etc. ...

    ... most of all to charge the MH leisure battery, so we can't always stay in MH Aires.
    Also in MH Aires, you are not supposed to put up awnings or tables and chairs, so when it is really hot this can be a bit restrictive.
    So we were heading to a municipal campsite which only charges 16e in peak season. ...

    ... rural area which was great. The village is the willow capital of France and famous for its basket weaving. The local cooperative had lots of demonstrations of how willow is cultivated, harvested and prepared for weaving and then people making various baskets. The shop had every imaginable thing made out of willow. There are over 1000 caves in the village with lots being lived in. They looked like real little hobbit holes.
