... like a super popular thing in Turkey that these businesses would have no returns for multiple days? Well, I found out that there was some special Turkish holiday going on in the nation and many people were traveling that week. I guess they were referring to city residents who likely did not own personal transportation vehicles. Regardless, car rental options appeared to be in high demand that week.

So, I exited the business and went to the next one....and ...

After a very long 8 hours on the bus but very welcome to the 11 hours originally planned.

Konya is very different to any other city we have been to and it's the 4th biggest city in turkey and the bible belt of Turkey. It is a dry city and due to the fact that it is Ramadam even us westerners were not able to have alcohol at all. They also fast for the month and so are not able to eat or drink until sundown and they must wait ...

... and looked at all these tablets depicting pictures from that time like lions chasing elephants and buffaloes and flowers. We slowly made our way back to our hotel while looking for a restaurant. We eventually found one that did a special Konya cuisine called "Ekmeck" which was a bread with meat and vegetables scattered over it.
