It was very dark and wet when we woke up to the alarm. Leanne arrived as planned and drove us to the airport. We left the Bratch Locks and headed north. We went through three locks and then had to go past Wightwick moorings and up a further lock before we could turn, come back through the lock and moor up for our visit to Wightwick Manor. This place is pronounced Wittick, and is really on the outskirts of Wolverhampton.
