... enjoyed walking around today. Mind you, without Ellenor to guide us we would have ended up pretty lost. I also saw Westminster Abby but didn't go in. I thought I should save some things for my week in London after the contiki. So far, I'm loving it here. We all have a meeting tonight for the tour which will begin tomorrow morning at 6.45am. ... small to eat, checked a crazy busy Myer like store, and Colleen had to touch nearly everything in sight. This shop was a lot more expressive than Myer too, so I made sure I didn't break anything. They had amazing window displays with Christmas themes. We hit up an Irish Bar called Waxy O'Connors, the place was packed with wall to wall people. So decide to have a drink before searching for what to have for dinner. Colleen grabbed a red wine, and me a pint of Heineken, and hot dog ...

... Southside mall and about eight of us turned up to try to do them justice. End of the day I didn't do very well- Cat and Karl gave it a good go though- Karl's plate looked like an elephant's graveyard afterwards (think Lion King).

... of flowers that were laid in front of the gates, exactly where we were standing. We walked around Kensington Palaces sunken garden, which was beautiful, especially as the sun was starting to break through the clouds. It was about 21 degrees. We then walked to Hyde Park and along the Sepentine. An unexpected treat was ELO were playing and we could clearly here the concert. I did join in on a few songs much to everyone ...

... in Kensington. Because we were early (and the weather had briefly calmed down) we went to Kensington Palace. Firstly we walked down this fancy road with lots of Embassies, man some of their buildings are so flash! We then came across the Palace... It wasn't as impressive as I had imagined either. Just looked like a really large brick building lol....I don't know what I expected though. Maybe it's really nice inside ...
