The Fu got up before me and grabbed a croissant and tea in the Lobby. I got up around 11 and the Fu decided she wanted to do a full blown english tea brunch. She found a place that has been slanging tea since the 1700's not far from Buckingham Palace so we went out to hail a cab.

... again, across Horseguards' Parade, and down to the Embankment. We had arranged to meet friends Emma & Dave, who were having a meal at Tom's Kitchen (in Somerset House). We had a few tapas whilst waiting for them, and had a very pleasant chat over a glass of wine or two, before wending our way back to the flat, duly knackered!
Today (Thursday) we off to the South Bank, to meet Rita & John, plus Vicky, for lunch.

Soph and I had already decided we wanted to go out for a really good steak meal and since we had our heart set on it we decided to go despite the girls pulling out. The Argentinian restaurant we wanted to go to was fully booked so we headed into the centre and had an amazing dinner at a steak restaurant called Hawksmoor.
