... by the old man left us on foot walking the river Thames toward Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Finally a chance for a sightseeing photo! We ended our first day with a pint of dark ale for me and a hot chocolate for Bec in a typical London pub overlooking the Thames. Oh I did forget to mention in typical English fashion it started raining and got dark at around 4:30pm! Who needs sunlight to enjoy London anyway! ...

... so close. 1 minute from the station and 2 minutes from everything else. She took me to a wonderful pub and we had a great dinner. Meagan is getting up at 3.30am to go to an Aussie Pub to watch the Grand Final. Pie for breakfast! And then Meagan walked me to the station and I caught the train back here. Have a ball in Australia, Megs and thank you! Had a lovely time today with you. All packed and ready for the second tour. Heading to Stratford on Avon tomorrow .... ...

The boys had a great two hour training session with two coaches from Fulham. The boys worked on technical skills, ball handling, shooting drills followed by an inter-squad scrimmage. The Fulham coaches praised the boys for the their technical ability and movement off the ball. A few hours after the training session, the boys ended the day with a quick pick-up game at London's Hyde park (won by the coaches and XL trainers or at least that's the way the coaches remember ...

Today we spent the day in Bushey, England, a borough of London about 30 minutes North. Madison competed in an Irish dance competition and she did very well!!!

We left at about 7:30 am and hiked it to the main train station of Euston. From there we hopped on the overground train and it took us North 30 minutes to Bushey. From there we had a bit of an adventure! We asked the attendant for directions and he told us to hop on the bus and get off at the ...
