I woke up to rain that morning, the kind of gentle rain England is noted for. I had breakfast with Frank and Dot Jarvis at the hotel, and at noon we checked out and drove down near Heathrow airport to the Double Tree Inn. As I checked in, they gave us each the complimentary cookies just delivered from the bakery. We talked in the lobby for a few minutes before the Jarvis's departed for home.
