    ... Bremen which meant 2 mins instead of 12 to catch next train! However first attendant I showed my ticket to was brilliant. She couldn't speak English but grabbed my suitcase and raced off. Then pushed us first onto 2 lifts and then at the end of platform threw me on the train. An angel indeed. Thankfully there was one seat for me ! A 2 hour trip in which my ticket was finally checked.     It will be a nice change of pace to have someone else drive. We covered over 4,000 miles in the 5 week journey.

    Visa fraud alert is a great thing but when we are making future travel plans in a different country, it locks the card. If we had a phone with international calling or if a call center could actually go through to an international operator (a real person) all would be ok.     When we awoke this morning we could see the German coast to the south and the Danish coast to the north. It turned out to be another beautiful day, warm enough to spend most of it lounging outside in the sun on the upper deck.
