After a very restful nights sleep we decide to squeeze our way out of the marina and move to anchor on Volcano Island so we can get an early start tomorrow at 4am to Palamero. Volcano is famous for its mud baths and hot springs so a treat in order for all of us. We could smell the baths before we could see them as the sulphur was very potent so a trip a shore ...

... was pretty trashy but had comfy beds and then we headed off to get some dinner and see some sights. I can now say I have seen and thrown a coin into Trevi fountain but unfortunately it just didn't have the same plop as we had hoped, more of a tinktinkting as it hit the cement bowl of the empty pool! (even though we knew it was under repairs and covered in scaffolding) we did get to walk over the fountain, which ...

... was excited to see his nonno's old bullet press and the girls and I received a lesson on how to make shotgun shells! Next was off to Milazzo to farewell Anna's new best friend and third cousin Emanuela and baby Marco, Alessia, Giuseppe and Maria and 8 of the other family members who came to say goodbye. By this time it was nearly 6.30 and we still had to have a farewell meal with Zio Tindaro, Zia Mica, Carmelo, Andrea and Barbara. We tried to ...
