... back to Kuala Lumpur, in the same row but with a couple of people between us. It wasn't all that bad as Vicky ploughed through her book, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, and I caught up with the blog - plus after 11 weeks side by side the three metres may have been a nice change! When we landed in KL we had two ours to complete our transfer between AirAsia and Lion Air - in such a big airport we had no idea how it would be. Fortunately it was easy enough, our bags emerging ...

A travel blog entry by niomioconnor on Jun 16, 2014

... I was upset because this was the first thing I had done after Anna left and I was stuck in the situation alone. I was worried about where to go and what to do and how the school in Cambodia would react when I told them I would be arriving a day late. I was worried about how much this would all cost. Above all I was upset because everyone in the airport walked past and just stared at me like I was a theatre show, no one thought to ask what was wrong or if they could help ...

There are no good reviews about Jakarta. Even Indonesian people we've met say its horrible. But I wanted to go there to complete all the capital cities of the countries we've visited. And also we thought it would be a good idea to buy some cheap stuff we can use in Australia, like trainers and jeans. That turned into a total fail. We looked up the biggest mall in Jakarta, got there and it ...
