Although we dreamt and planned a lot for this journey, we never thought about the last part.
Waiting between our last two planes, we still have one question:How do you end such an overwhelming adventure before getting back to the real world of bills, plumbing problems and work but also friends, family, weekends and summerbars? I guess by putting the best pics on your screensaver and planning the next one :-)?.
... are out by the thousands, eating, drinking, smoking and connecting with their neighbors. Such a vital time at night. But with our long day we decided to just go out from 7:30 - 10:30pm then head back to our hotel and into bed. Chris' pedometer marked we walked 11 kilometers today. And now my feet feel like it. So happy to be here. Special thanks to Cliff and Sandy who gave a condensed version of Rome....as we are going to Florence ...
Our touchdown in Europe was in Frankfurt and it wasn't overly exciting. We really only spent 11/2 hours in Frankfurt and that was spent going up and down a lot of stairs, through security, passport control, customs... Including being asked know much money we had available to spend, on hand and on our credit cards...Are you kidding me?.... And eventually boarding at gate A19. Turns out that means ...

Angkor Wat and Siem Reap were spectacular. We loved the acrobatic show we saw there. Eating great food, drinking cold beer, and watching the French Open at a guesthouse bar in Kampot was also a ton of fun.
