Took the overnight train from Cairo to Aswan. Had planned to stay at the Memnon but was unable to find it so I stayed at the Keylany for a couple of nights. The book said the entrance was on a side street. It actually meant you had to go down a side street and then wonder round the back and go up two flights of stairs to find the entrance.
