... water and snacks. When we got back to our room the exhaustion hit us. I fell asleep within 2 seconds of my head hitting the pillow (It was only 6.30 pm LOL!) and Darcy soon followed. Nek minute it was 5.50 am and the alarm was going off. We packed up our stuff up and headed down stairs to check out. The kind fellow at reception called us a taxi to take us to the port to catch the ferry. And now here we are heading to Santorini ...

... luck and try to check in at our hotel, or at least drop off our luggage. We felt like zombies and were hoping to get in a few hours' sleep, but finding the hotel was interesting as a lot of the roads have no names. At least the island is small and we had some idea as to where the hotel was located, so that helped.

      Just back from Santorini.

What an amazing trip. We took a "see Santorini in one day" tour with Kamari Tours and our tour guide was Tana (highly recommended).

The tour bus picked us up from Fira (the islands capital) at 9.15am and headed first for Mount Prophet Elias where we had we had panoramic views of Santorini, the Caldera (crater) and volcano.

We then headed on the bus and spent half an hour in the village ...

... went exploring the streets of another town and did some souvenir shopping.

Afterwards we caught the cable car down to the old port (rather than get a lift on a donkey - looked too hazardous down the windy cliff path!) and the tender back to the ship.

Had an afternoon nap and then hit the gym for some exercise.

Enjoyed a great ballroom dancing show after our nice evening meal.
