... of the Dolomites and the view of the mountainside full of Larch trees and their fall colours was amazing. The architecture in that area has a definite Austrian feel. We reached the Passo Sella (Sella Pass), about 6,600 feet elevation where the mountainside had a layer of fresh snow. The view was not there. Cold and snowing. We took our chances and missed some amazing landscapes. It was time to head back, repack and continue our ...

Last night we had another huge storm that raged for several hours keeping us awake. Everything was still and dripping this morning and the lake looked beautiful. We had decided to travel up the East side of Lake Garda to see some of the old quaint towns dotted along the way. ... The wedding started at 11am and finished around 9:30pm. Was a long but very interesting day filled food & drink, emotions, music, games, laughter, picture taking, more food & drink and more music and dancing. Everything was done at the castle, CastelBrando in Cison Di Valmarino. There is a church at CastelBrando, but they chose to be married in the very large, outdoor theatre. Fortunately it was completely covered because ...

Fontanelle is the small vineyard area where my father was born. The majority of residents are named Cescon - some are related and some are not. Cousin Oscar and wife Patrizia live here in same house that my Dad was born. Codogne is the small community a few ...
