      Left florence around 0930, , took us awhile to get out of florence , we finally took A11 north to bologna and made to Padova around 2 pm, Treena had headache, so she stayed at hotel room why char and I explored the town, nice area, Had dinner at the bar,, meet Erica the bartender at the Sheraton bar, very nice, we had Bristo menu, char had burger me ceased salad, TC pizza., 77 dollars for ...

      ... and bought food and drinks and had dinner at home, lovely day all around. 31.10.14 Up at a reasonable hour, had a great breakfast, then headed into Cortona for a walk around exploring and shopping. Can't believe the size of the streets cars drive in within the city limits, crazy. Went to the supermarket and got some dinner for tonight in our apartment.       ... a Japanese restaurant. The Japanese food was similar but not the same as we are accustomed to in Vancouver. We believe the Asian owners were more Italian than Japanese.       Today we were supposed to get up early and visit Trevisio. Instead we decided to sleep in and take it easy for the day. We went to Aunt Severina and Uncle Firmino's house for dinner. We dined with my aunt, uncle and cousin (Ivanno) for a couple of hours, and was lucky enough to catch a few minutes with my other cousin (Walter) before he left for the evening. The meal was a superb Italian home cooked dinner, while drinking plenty of homemade Prosecco.
