As the ship is delayed we decided to hire a car and take a holiday, head off to Florida Keys for a few days and stay in Key West. A fab drive down the A1A along the coast to Fort Lauderdale dreaming, about living all the lovely properties ...

... some time. It is about a 4 hour trip from Fort Myers Beach to Key West and for 3 of those hours you can't even see land so it wasn't too exciting. I actually saw, and I am not making this up, winter hat, gloves, long sleeve shirt, sweat pants, and of course ...

In the Evening we drove back to Marathon and wiggled our way true the South & Central Florida weather-mess Northbound , we actually had to divert all the way up to St. Petersburg before turning right towards Spruce Creek. Flight time was more than 1hour and 30minutes and thanks to great help from ATC which guided us true the violent stormy weather arrived home safely.....

Hi folks! Not sure how a whole week has gone by since I last blogged. I guess that's what happens when you go fishing every single day.
The pictures will tell most of the story. Fishing, fishing and more fishing. Although the pictures are not mostly of fishing. Guess Mom got a little tired of taking pictures of fish and fishing men. Interesting catches include many barracuda in the canal. Dad drives the boat and Blake and Dylan fish off the back of the boat until we ...
