This place is right across the street from the Hilton Hotel, and its excellent beach. The staff here could not be friendlier, and the amenities are outstanding. The nightly buffet of snacks and drinks at "happy hour" is amazing. The internet is free, and breakfast a feast! The rooms are modern and cozy. Why stay at the Hilton when you can have such a great experience here?

Adjusting Jetlag
We arrived very early in the morning. After checking in at the hotel, showering and resting to adjust the jet-lag, we left for a walk by the sea coast through the Marina and the Promenade all the way down to Jaffo. We received the Shabat with dinner under the stars.
Wadi Rum and a Run for the Border
We are out the door at 7:30 this morning, heading south to Wadi Rum, a spectacular system of canyons and mountains rising dramatically out of the desert. It is the land of Lawrence of Arabia. We transfer to open-back Toyota Land Cruisers at the visitor's center and head out into the desert, passing the occasional hiker and the odd camel caravan of …
Introduction to Tel Aviv
We're a little groggy this morning after our long day yesterday, but delighted that the tour is still on schedule and nothing will be missed. Our panoramic tour of Tel Aviv begins with a drive to Jaffa, with a view of St. Peter’s Church and a photo stop to see Tel Aviv from afar. It is a vibrant and modern city, and today is the beginning of …
Oh, Little Town of . . .
Bethlehem is our destination today. It is really intended as a free day for the beach, but our gung-ho Toto Tourists want to see more of the area, and a visit to the Palestinian Territories (which is not included on our original itinerary) answers their call for additional adventures. The drive from Tel Aviv takes only an hour because today is the …
Tel Aviv and Old Jaffa Sightseeing
We return to the old city of Jaffa this morning to see the artists' quarter and visit a local flea market. Our first visit is to the old Turkish train station, built in 1892, and now renovated into a complex of boutiques and restaurants. We walk further into the old city to visit the museum and gallery of the artist Ilana Goor, whose work is very …
