Day 19, Tuesday - Massada, Dead Sea to Tel Aviv
Massada (Masada), Dead Sea, to Tel Aviv
about 23⁰C. Clear blue skies until mid-afternoon, then windy & blowing sand. Wind & rain at night.
We met Israel at 8:30 with our bags, after another delicious breakfast. It has amazed us that everywhere we have been in Israel any writing is usually only in Hebrew. We have been …
Day 2: Better Places, Palmach Museum, Rabin Center
INNOVATION, INDEPENDENCE AND SEEKING PEACE
It's 5:04 PM and we're back at the Melody Inn. The day is a blur of activity and as I recall our morning, it seems so long ago that it might have been another day! Time flies!

We're in the time bubble between home and our destination. We’ve left home behind, yet we haven’t yet arrived at our destination. Maybe there is some truth to the saying "the journey is the destination"?

Day 3: Eretz Israel Museum, Tel Aviv Museum of Art

We think of honey made from bees, but here is date honey that is the same consistency and very tasty over our morning croissants. A quick Google search reveals that date honey is hard to find and easy to make. The …

TravelPod Member ReviewsMelody Hotel Tel Aviv - an Atlas Boutique Hotel
Close to the beach, the port, the marina and the main streets.

This place is right across the street from the Hilton Hotel, and its excellent beach. The staff here could not be friendlier, and the amenities are outstanding. The nightly buffet of snacks and drinks at "happy hour" is amazing. The internet is free, and breakfast a feast! The rooms are modern and cozy. Why stay at the Hilton when you can have such a great experience here?
