Of course after each walk we stop for a cold beverage to talk and get to know one another a little better. Walking and talking, a great way to make friends!

... place called Oliva parked up just behind the sand dunes and no high rise in sight. Flat enough for us to go on some good bike rides. This week we have experienced 25 degrees and 14 degrees which is at least better than the UK and the floods there!

It's always a happy moment when we turn the key in the lock and see our sun-filled apartment with that lovely view of the sea. Our home for the coming winter months!
It didn't take us long to get settled. And to our delight, shortly after our arrival Vincent, Alexia and Madlyn came by to give us a warm hello....and a few minutes later Marie appeared to make their welcome complete!
... in, we booked in at the Sol Pelicanos Ocas in Benidorm, despite Kassie's dire warnings that Benidorm was a nightmare of package hotels catering to those seeking soulless, trouble-free vacations. (She and Liona seem to have some shared memories here that made her not want to return!!?? Start singing the "song", Liona, it is still apropo!)

As a student at UCAM, Catholic University of San Antonio Murcia, I was able to go on a day trip for free paid by the university to see a hotel, as I am studying tourism with my classmates. We went to one of the most popular hotels in Benidorm, with the highest hotel point in Europe. We could see miles and miles of ocean, ...
