After our snow adventure we still needed 1 and a half day to cycle to Valladolid. Luckily we found another cute abandoned house next to the road where we did manage to built a fireplace, a chimney and mount our tent in the smallest room (1,5 x 2 mt!!). ... weeks. Basically...time to start wrapping things up around here. It's insane, I have 4 days of classes left and then 3 days of finals. It seems like I just got here! What the heck?

Annnnyways, looks like I've got things figured out for Germany. I'm staying with Rabea (old classmate that studied abroad in the US my senior year of high school) at her boyfriend's apartment. Sounds like I'm going to get my own room ...

One test tomorrow (something to do for a change!). Our Spanish-style Thanksgiving celebration with the professors on Thursday. Then another free weekend with a possible day trip to Toledo with a couple other students.

I've survived my first (and likely only) round of Spanish midterms! Since getting back from Granada and Sevilla on Monday, things have been absolutely crazy. Though the weekend was a lot of fun, I paid for it a bit in terms of workload for the next few days. Oh well.

Tuesday I had a presentation on the history, architecture and style of the Burgos Cathedral (in art). I think it's safe to say that I know plenty about Gothic artwork, namely Gothic ...

... under their own bed. There are things going on at literally all hours of the day. So much so that it's hard to just get to where you want/need to go. It's definitely fun...but I apparently don't have it in me to party as much as Spanairds.

This week is another 3 day week for school. We had class on Monday, followed by a day off for the Patron Saints day on Tuesday. It's a tough life here.
