... and a lot of good food and wine!
We started at Mas les Comelles, north west of Girona - a working farm, including the smell of the cows, with beautiful accommodation, great food and attentive hosts. Then on to Finca Bell Lloc - a winery at the end of a dirt road about 10 km inland from Palomas to the south east of Girona. The main house had been renovated with fantastic taste and the winery was an architectural wonder that was ...

... that made our backdrop. We continued to walk and climbed a tower to get a great 360 view, definitely worth the huffing and puffing. Extremely randomly we heard music coming from a cave just off the city wall, why not go check it out? I can't really explain, but it was kind of an underground event that was being setup, but with projectors, chairs, blue lights and booze. One thing mentioned earlier was that museums were free on a Sunday, however one thing they failed to mention ...

... I really loved Girona. It had a very laid back feel. If I had to stay somewhere in Spain for twelve months, and go to school and everything, I would stay in Girona (but I didn't kiss the bear's butt, so maybe I won't go).
