... for 2-4 hours. Drain the cashews and rinse well.

  • To a food processor, add the soaked cashews, salt, nutritional yeast and the lemon juice. (I add my optional ingredients here, i.e. sun-dried tomatoes) Blend on high and stir frequently scraping down the sides of the bowl. Keep processing the mixture until it is very smooth, and there are no lumps.
  • Serve with crackers, bread or as a dip with fresh vegetables.

    ... there are lots of chicks still being fed by their mothers, even although the chick is big enough to fly.

    The chick follows the mother around, making cheeping noises and sort of fluttering it's wings in a pathetic way, until, the mother relents and feeds it.
