          ... It is like being on the monopoly board today! Stopped at the British Museum for the quick look around the highlights. You could spend weeks in there! I particularly liked the Oxus Treasure from Iran (fabulous metalwork) and the Portland vase and cameos from Roman times. The vase was the inspiration for Wedgewood pottery. Managed to get the day's activities done with clear skies, but I can hear thunder and see dark clouds and rain now. Off to Dublin ...
