... which took us to the junction line for a train on the Metro rail line which took us under the Golden Horn waterway. We then had to change lines deep underground at a shiny, sparkling new station with not a tout or stall insight, which took us underground for about 14 stops and then we took a taxi for the last 6 km to Pendik Train Station. 0700hrs wake up and breakfast in the courtyard. I tell the bloke I have a transfer booked at 0800hrs. "Yes, yes, I know.....bus station...may be 5-10mins late because of traffic" (Yeah, yeah, a few minutes here and a few minutes there and it all starts to get a bit tight on times).
