... falls in mid summer is not peak season for weddings. With no alcohol to buy either, this must be a relatively cheap wedding for the Bride’s family. AG makes notes.

*Illuminated Turkish Bird Cages are a decorative theme around the stage and dance floor. SG wonders whose captivity this is meant to signify.

... big and strong and kept trying to eat grass and Kayla couldn't stop it. In fact all of them tried to eat whenever they saw grass and considering they don't have good paddocks to run in you couldn't blame them.
They were quiet enough but a bit too riding school type and not overly responsive. They were sure footed in the tracks and rough terrain though. We enjoyed the ride through some of the valleys and got to see a bit more than we would have otherwise. We had ...

... Jung Bahadur Rana's statue was uprooted from its original location and installed in one corner of Tundikhel. We'd bent the head of Mahendra's statue during our 'people's revolution' & the white marble statue of Tribhuvan at Trirpureshore was blackened by thousands of polluting vehicles that pass through everyday. I couldn't find any memorial for B.P. Koirala (who by the way isn't included in the list). My attempt to find the memorial for names Rishikesh Shaha included ...
