I took a photo of the near end result but it really doesn’t capture the skill, strength, patience and concentration required to do this act, it was just amazing to watch. Then after balancing all of this on her head the woman carefully put it down, walked around and removed the feather from the end and the structure toppled over. So very clever!

          ... sure if it was Hamburg or not as there wasn’t anything written in English) looked prior to, during and after WWII. Quite an impact on the senses to see the devastation caused by the war, very sad. It is hard to imagine how anyone survived, let alone rebuilt the towns and cities.
