We set off early this morning for the fast train out of Fuzhou. Get this...the taxi stops in the middle of a three lane highway and everybody jump out! This is precisely what I wanted, Suzhou and many developed or tourist cities in China are becoming so sterile and bland in an effort to be attractive and clean that they've lost their character. However, this was fascinating to walk around the the location, a small seaside city surrounded by mountains, was certainly spectacular.
