... village was quite a sight also... There are grains spread out in front of the houses, presumably to dry but I'm not sure why! There was also the vegetable Bok Choi EVERYWHERE. hanging on people's balconies, driveways, washing lines, everywhere! The few villagers there were did stare quite a bit but it was not in a rude way. They're seem intrigued by westeners and indeed I was approached by a man who began streaming out Chinese ...

... that we left the hotel and did a bit more sightseeing in another canyon close by. We went up to the top of the rocks and had an amazing view over rice fields and the waterfalls. It was defiantly worth the climb! All in all a fantastic trip and I met some nice people which I will hopefully meet again this week for a dinner. ...

Not really a big tourist place, more like a get away from the city. I can see the appeal of staying in one of the many $500+/night resorts on the top of the mountain. I opted for the $30/night hotel at the bottom. It was quite nice. Moganshan has made onto the list of places I would return to. There is potential for camping...

We saw a man with cormorants which he ties to his boat and then hooks them off to catch fish. He ties a piece of string round their necks so when they catch the fish they don’t eat the fish.
