... and has cited the
Michael Jackson Memorial bankruptcy court’s decision, which calls the company “hopelessly insolvent,” several times in press releases and on its Web site.
For decades, G.M. traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GM. But after the company filed for bankruptcy on June 1, its listing moved to the over-the-counter bulletin board, becoming GMGMQ.

... we obviously didn't have a clue and the guy just came over with a big thing of steamed dumplings with sauce, no questions asked - perfect! Then we got talking to the dude next to us who was attempting to teach us some madarin (which by the way is impossible because even if you get the words right, they don't always understand because you might not get the tone right!) and he invited us to his bar next door...we walked in and there was a big drum kit set ...
Beijing, China jendrix... although the hike itself was pretty exhausting After exiting the wall we had to walk across a suspension bridge over a beautiful dammed lake. Then we noticed a line of onlookers and found out that rather than walking down to the parking lot, we could take a zip line across the lake and a short boat ride to the parking lot. Naturally we choose to do this and it was well ...
Beijing, China jamemorg... an event on the scale of the Beijing games had better have multiple platforms available to distribute pictures, text, commentary and, of course, commercials. NBC, which has the American rights, is offering 2,000 hours of live video coverage and 3,000 hours of on-demand video on its website. It plans to show its advertisers, who pay some $750,000 for a 30-second spot, that the old system of merely counting those who watch on NBC and its other channels (CNBC, MSNBC and Oxygen) is ...
Beijing, China happysheep... timing on what we could hear, we had to base everying on the conductor. He kind of did this unintentional dolphin impression as he conducted. He would be jumping up and down in a strange fashion during the song, but at least it was nice to see that he was so much into the music that he wasn't even paying attention to what his body was doing.
Then we stopped at another convienent place for lunch. We were eating in a restaruant that ...
... sold it for, but it was so much less than what I would expect to pay in America that I am happy with the results. [P.S. I found my missing earring, so all is well! 6/24/08] More observations: City planning: Beijing has a terrible case of sprawl. There are at least 10 ring roads that circle the city, but there is no clear downtown area. Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City are in the middle, but of course it's not a conventional skyscaper ...
Beijing, China rachaelb... trip, because now I'm here I'm kinda fine! So I think it was more of a realization that I won't see anything familiar for at least another year! Plane ride was uneventful I guess, watched some poor Tommy Lee Jones film and didn't sleep much, but that was about it. But I must say that I kept looking at the in flight map, that was showing us a map of our flight path and where we were on it. It was a very peculiar feeling when ...
Beijing, China azz_i_travel... Highway 214. Habitat from Gonghe (共和) to Santala (三塔拉) is mainly desert and shrubs which are sparsely distributed. We stopped at waymark 193km, hopefully to look for for sandgrouses, but we found Plain-backed Snowfinch and Horned Lark. From Santala to Heka Pass (河卡山口), the altitude rose to 3900m at the mountain pass. White-rumped Snowfinch appeared tame and we got a good chance again for pictures ...
Qinghai (Tibetan Plateau), China ckwmaWe recently journeyed to Guilin, then Lijiang - then drove from Lijiang to Lhasa, stopping along the way at small towns and villages throughout Western China and Eastern Tibet. I've posted some photos here: Chinabackroads ...
Western China and Eastern Tibet, China chinabackroads... econo pack" of toilet tissue is no joking matter! She will bite you if she has to get you out of her way! Why do people get mean at Wal-Mart? I read in the newspaper that there are currently 60 Wal-Marts in China and are looking to expand. So Chinese people can now stock up on all the WWE wrestling and Nascar merchandise that their harts desire! Thank you Sam Walton for taking a little piece of white trash America and making it available to the world (and at such economical ...
