... I don't think we managed to stay in for more than 15 minutes at any time but wow, was it soothing. Any aches and pains from our excessive walking were gone, and we felt super refreshed. I can totally see why so many people migrate here for a day or more; I'd rather this than any spa treatment!

... floor and made it to the room...and I know the pictures do not do it justice here because the room was a little slice of history all on its own. Tatami mats covered the floor and the wooden doors that slid open to reveal our private balcony were classic. I could almost imagine myself in ancient Japan! Putting our bags down in an available corner was about all we could manage before being tempted out onto the balcony to admire the view. ...

... find a nice place to eat. We found ourselves a nice fish restaurant. Once we were in we noticed that the entire menu and everything in the restaurant was in Japanese only and nothing in english but the waitress had the translations written down in her notebook so we eventually managed to order. I ordered what i think was a fish-hamburger (well that's how it was translated anyway and we both ordered sake to make the whole experience ...
