... so fascinating to observe the local tea pickers winding around and through us to get to the various collections of bushes to do the picking. Yes, the leaves are picked by hand. The women did not seem bothered by us at all and stopped to chat and show off their harvest thus far. Some rather enjoyed posing for us with their baskets and hats. Barely took any photos in Hangzhou as it ****** it down most of the time we were there but here are a few. Hangzhou isn't much of a wintery place really as most of the activities are based around the lake. We attempted to walk around it on my birthday but got soaked through so went to a silk museum instead.
