    ... inches thick! Only had one thunderstorm since I arrived that lasted 10 mins. I loved the firefly watching so much I think I'll do it again tonight.
    Funny thing - Being whisked through KL bus station by Malaysian Spivs in checked shorts and over shiny shoes as they shout in my ear things I will never understand, washing my clothes in a mucky bucket with a bar of bright pink soap in a thunderstorm, chasing monkeys and chickens out of my hut ...

    ... complete turn off for that moment. How would Sheelan manage to go up there was the first thing that ran on my mind and im sure he felt the same too as he had the same doubtful look on his face. We asked the car park attendant and he told us that its not too far up and we would be able to make it in 15 minutes.     ... mousse with strawberry balsamic ..... in reality it was a very very very strange mousse...mushed aubergines which were held together with polycel or similar, and flavoured with VERY strong mint! The cream and cherry on top was excellent as was the strawberry sauce...ho hum!! (David ate it ...but I just ate the cherries and the sauce!)

    (we will not be serving this dessert to guests in the future!)

    ... heads and think of what to do next. we decided to walk off from the bus station to try and find a cheaper cab ride and it worked. we jumped into a taxi and set off to our b+b which was just outside of town. on arrival we we rent impressed with what we found but it was the cheapest in the area so we stayed. we caught up on some sleep for a few hours and then decided what we would do.

    ... statue of the Sleeping Buddha. Another mystery as to how the statue has formed here. Besides, there are many other statues which have formed naturally in recent years from the limestone and granite activities in the cave, these include that of Pechayi Amman, Nagamma, Muniswaran and many more.
