... br> Our apartment was awesome, 2 bedrooms, quaint little balcony, all the mod cons (comfy pillow which was a reason to celebrate after the rock pillow we had in our last hotel)… just a short walk and we were down the harbour and surrounded by taverna’s, restaurants and bars overlooking the best scenery so far.. Albania seemed like it was a stone’s throw away!

After our Epic journey to Athens, we were very much
looking forward to some sunshine and chill time on the island of Corfu. Jumping
on our twin prop with Al volunteering scenes from Air Crash Investigation for
our short 50 minute flight, the views were spectacular as we flew over the

... to be able to see the full starry heavens. Marina, Jacques and I went into the water. Marina stayed in longer saying "the water is very fresh....good for your circulation." I put one foot in, and found it downright cold. It took me a few minutes, but I did get in...then out again very quickly. ... haven't seen it all it appears to be getting smaller and so does our large stateroom especially when Wazza is eating his breakfast argh! The comedian on the ship did a show last night which we enjoyed after a slow start and my concern of the elderly lady beside me who needed her hubby to repeat most things the comedian said. Wazza was confidently telling me, I'm alright I can talk to most people, but was proven wrong quite quickly ...

The ship is moored at the port on Corfu. We are going to Albania, so we have to go through Greek Immigration to leave Greece. Greek Immigration is chaotic, with long queues and plenty of people pushing in. Eventually we get our passports stamped, very faintly because Greek finances don't permit the purchase of ink!
