... trap, no doubt, but I've wanted to visit it. I had no idea that Germany and Austria were so devout in the Catholic religion. We saw wood carved crucifixes along the roadside and here and there on mountain sides. Our guide told us it was not a marking for accidents or anything tragic, it was just a place for hunters or woodsman to go and pray when they were away from the village.
Our final destination for the evening was Innsbruck, a lovely city with a ...

The markets are filled with Christmas stuff and lots of other things from sparkly jewelery to wooden toys for both kids and pets. We drove from Lindau to Innsbruck. It is about a 2 hour drive without stops on mostly 4 lane road and good highways. We already had out Austrian Road sticker. We got that when we went to Lichtenstein.

come from. at least here most of the time you can trust the oncoming cars to
stay put behind each other and not overtake just whenever they feel like
    it.
Onwards passed the town of Seefeld and its great twisty roads for mile
after mile. I pass through the little railway town with the loco preserved in
the street to which I forget its name and simply continue onwards until I get
fed up and want a hotel.

... We had a nice cooked dinner again that night, and just relaxed and went to sleep early! The next morning we watched the sunrise from the bus as we made our way back to Innsbruck, where we took the train to Dachau- where my next blog adventure begins!

I would love to be able to go back to Austria someday- it is on my list to come back here!!

Don't forget to check out more of my pictures from the Alps and skiing below!
