... a reasonable cost. I spent that afternoon booking a bus, train and accommodation for Monday. The accommodation and train were easy, even with the train booking website in Spanish (thank you Word Lens) but the bus booking was a pain in the butt. I tried using the ALSA (Spanish bus company which is part of a bigger British company) app on my phone using the English verson, but it seemed to have a bug and wouldn´t go to the payment page. So then I tried on the website ...
... a lift to pick up the motorcycle (BMW Rockster) he´s borrowing from John. We were both pretty excited to have the bike since it meant we could really explore Javea easily. So after lunch we explored the Arenal beach area which is a tourist area but quite pretty with lots of restaurants. We checked out a restaurant or two for possibilities for dinner and also enquired about snorkelling at a scuba diving place. That night we ate at La Fontana. I ...
... no bus. Maybe we were in the wrong place? I went inside the ALSA office and asked "Number 1 bus to Valencia?", "Yes, 9.30", "It's 9.25, no bus", "Bus coming". OK. So we wait, and just as the clock ticks over to 9.30, Jess manages to delete the email from her phone with her eTicket. In a mild panic we jumped on the gmail.com site, figured out how to log off as me and log in as Jess, went into the trash and undeleted the email - just as the bus was pulling ...
... them and before we left we all went out for a chinese together and out for drinks. Brian let off fireworks next door. I went home very drunk and got sick, oops. We also met an old woman next door to us called Phyllis, she had a husband and her granddaughter staying with her for the Summer, Codie. Overall it was a good holiday, quite but nice, although, not sure I would go back to the same place ...
... it was next to Barclays Bank, which Google Maps said was exactly where it wasn't. I went on their website and tried to find the specific address, but even that failed. I never did find it, but I stumbled across some other dry cleaning service. To dry clean my suit was going to cost 10 Euro, and that all seemed fine - until I asked when I could pick it up. Friday apparently. Well there was no way I was waiting that long for dry cleaning, so I explained that I ...

The best hotel in benidorm
i have stayed in this hotel for 16 visits and who ever stays here and does not like it my advice is go stay at azoo this has everything you want good food clean great location if you want a quite time if you want it noisy a 5minute walk and its on your doorstep the staff bend over backwards to help the wife is disabled we had a problem with one of the wheels and the MANAGER took it and got it repaired thats what i call service
Having seen the previous reviews on the Hotel Regente my wife and myself stayed ther in January 2005, Having stayed in many Portland rated hotels and numerous others in the resort of Benidorm, a resort we visit on average four times a year. We found this hotel disappointing, although the decor was good we found the standard and variety of food on offer very, very disappointing. I would not personally recommend this hotel and certaining have no intention of a re-visit.
4th time at this Hotel
It gets better all the time ,since refurb good food great staff, very clean,
and very good position to sample all the nightlife.
Stayed in hotel Regente September 2004 with my boyfriend. Hotel and rooms were kept very clean. Pool was new and also kept clean. There was more than enough food and a good variety. Good location. Carlos the pool side assistant was very friendly and helpful - Pizza, San Miquel and Blue Lagoons were great !!! Would definately go again

Returned to Benidorm after a five year gap, found loads of different things going on, Terra Mittica, Mundamar, both worth visiting.
The regente has not lost it's freindliness the staff from cleaner to director are excellent especially the bingo caller.

the rooms were cleaned every day
and the pool was new and had a jaccuzi at one end
i would definitly go back there
it is also an all british hotel and very friendly
Going back next year!!
having just got back from benidorm 3/6/04. Am already looking to book for same holiday next year
The hotel regente in our opinion is excellent and we have been going to benidorm now for 8 years, it is clean, the staff are excellant, carlos who runs the kids disco is brill, the kidzone club run by helen, amanda and corrine is well run, hotel location is excellant, the pool is fab, food could be a bit better but you wont starve (could have a bit more choices for kids) and the rooms could do with being a bit bigger but have clean beds and towels every day. would def recommend
