One of the endearingly infuriating habits of my husband (hello dear!) is that we never stay in a hotel without moving rooms once. Or twice. The first room is too noisy ( despite having pre-requested the quietest room at the back) or perhaps it is too light or too near the lift. We leave at 11:15, by which time, the sun is shining, but, the wind ...

    Coastal Walk

A travel blog entry by leanneroles on Jul 31, 2011

Set off this morning for a walk along the seashore that we had been told was very picturesque. It was... at least the scenery was, if not the nude bathers on the beach. However about 45 minutes into the walk we lost our nice paved surface. The terraine became a bit steep and very pebbly. With visions of broken legs and sprained ankles on our mind we decided to head back ...
