So I'm doing it. I'm taking the lunge and switching from my old fashioned journal to this newfangled blog. I've written much in my journal about my stay in Sydney so far, but since it is not yet in the all-mighty electronic form I am going to convert it quickly for you all. So, stay tuned to read about all my adventures down under.
... and tribulations of the past three weeks. Stay with me on this one guys. Before we kick this off, I'll just run you through where the first 4 weeks of our travels had taken us so far:
1) Flew to Darwin and picked up the Spaceship.2) Drove circa 4000km (2,400 miles) from Darwin to Adelaide (North to South), visiting Uluru (Ayers Rock) en route.3) Drove 'south-east' from Adelaide to Melbourne.

... ferry port but were unable to buy tickets there. The information said that you could buy tickets from a local convenience store, so we hiked in the heat. The shop assistant recommended we buy a weekly multi pass for $52. This seemed excessive for what we needed but he said it was the best value as we could use one pass between us. The ferry shoots its load into Manly via an ugly wharf building filled with shops selling burgers and coffee and all that ****. Annoying, but when you escape you are presented with a charming narrow beach sporting expensive yachts, peeling tanners, and also Manly Sea Life Sanctuary where you can find exotic fish, intriguing crustaceans, and burgers ...
... some beds, flicking through paper work and making fake phone calls. After lots of flaffing and smiling I think I was finally in the clear when they departed.
