So I'm doing it. I'm taking the lunge and switching from my old fashioned journal to this newfangled blog. I've written much in my journal about my stay in Sydney so far, but since it is not yet in the all-mighty electronic form I am going to convert it quickly for you all. Not been an eventful day today. Yesterday was gay pride carnival so it was a good night to be out and about. Went to the Opera bar which was beautiful. Out late so had a lazy one today. Up early tomorow to move to a dorm just for the people on the tour. Should be a good week especially as the weather is on the up. ... four trampolinists, two dressed in England colours and two in Australian whose job it is to somersault when the team they are representing hits a boundary or takes a wicket. As expected, the poor Aussie performers have a lot more work to do than the English ones! Up and about today in time for check out at 11am. Took the tram to Federation Square to watch Superbowl XLVIII, the Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos!! It was awesome, there was a big screen set up showing the game and a mini stadium for the vast and ever growing audience to watch from! ... was severe turbulence and at one point we dropped what felt like a good few metres, feeling as if we were going to fall from the sky. No big deal. Even the cabin crew were being informed by the captain to take a seat. It was all a bit terrifying; particularly when someone screamed rather loudly as the plane dropped.
