... we're not going to called dinosaur national park, where there are huge fossil fields that you can visit...if we're ever in this region again, that is defo going on the to-visit list! As we were driving, we saw a coyote really clearly, running across the road, which was awesome! The area is so flat and plain and you can see for miles, so we could see it run off into the distance. ... City Campground is owned by the city (known for Natural Gas Wells - but not in the CAMPGROUND!). It was beautiful - even better than BAKER PARK! Many $$$, but private, grassy sites, trees and VERY WELL MAINTAINED FACILITIES!

We got in late, but because we crossed over to a new time zone, still had time for a lovely walk on a paved bike path that lead back to town.

Enfin on a de la neige à Medicine Hat. Ce matin, c'était en pluie lorsque je suis sortie, mais a peine 5 minutes après, c'était en train de virer en neige. Ici le concept de tempête n'existe pas vraiment, seulement une école dans toute la ville était fermée si j'ai bien compris alors que pendant l'avant-midi il neigeait beaucoup avec du vent alors poudrerie. J'ai pris quelques photos à mon retour de l'école vers 4h. ...

... fait partie de ce qui est appelé le "Badlands". C'est une région très sèche où l'érosion est forte. Ici, c'est moins flagrant qu'à Drumheller avec le parc Provincial Dinosaur ou Cypress Hills, mais on retrouves certaines buttes qui rappellent les Badlands.
