... chicks were sat in the tree......very beautiful birds, mum was keeping a close eye on us when near the chick. They have been known to be a little protective and take a swoop or two!
After a nice four hour trip home we got back......super long day but very cool to see a bit further into the country. The eggs are now back at the sanctuary and will be incubated this week and we'll see what we get......very ...

Left the Staybridge Suites before 11 am and dropped over to Tim Hortons for breakfast. Then we pointed ourselves homeward. Quick refueling in Strathmore with some treats from Dairy Queen, then home just after 2 pm.

11th Not the most eventful of mornings. Leaving moose jaw after some of the group went to the al Capone tunnels. I wandered around the campsite and to watch some ground hogs or gophers...
