... path from the kitchen to the main house became known as the whistling walk.

The Civil rights museum was distressing and moving and informative. We learned about the segretation that existed in Birmingham up until the mid seventies.

We stopped into a roasted peanut factory that is still roasting in machines that are over a century old. We ate peanuts fresh out of the roasters. The smell was amazing.

Oops! Wrong Vulcan!

Tomorrow we arrive in Atlanta (Lord willing!), so today we had a leisurely morning and didn't leave Jackson, MS, until after 11am.
