... Dinner was anytime dining, open seating, so we met up with Judy and Ron and had a meal with them and talk about our memorable trip to India. Sent apologies to our usual group, who were waiting to hear about it all, saying we would catch up tomorrow night. ... there is valet parking (also free) everywhere. Didn't see many cops around but apparently they are paid to drive ferrari's & other super flash cars.

After relaxing by the pool we had a drink at "jetty lounge" at the Dubai Marina then went for a drive. Dubai is definitely a place that becomes more alive at night.

... dancing fountains and the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifah. The day finished with a few vodkas in Huddle sports bar (we may have taken some of our own in).

We finished our trip by popping to the roof to pool, at the hotel and having a subway for lunch. Finally we were ready to go on our excursion with our traditionally dressed Arabic driver. We had many photo opportunities and went 4x4 dune bashing.... awesome! ...

    Weinig in de buurt, 10 minuten lopen van de metro. Wel een upgrade naar een one-bedroom appartement gekregen. Helaas geen gratis internet.
