      Next for the jeepney ride, but this time, WE drive. The driver was Uncle Bob's cousin, Ramil. While we waited by the river we did a few more movie shots - I introduced Bob to the jump photo which he loved and Ravi won at pooh sticks.

      Ramil drove us to a quiet street and we all had a go at jeepney driving. Chuffing Nora, it was tough! Firstly, to get my legs in was a squeeze, I suppose Filipinos are naturally smaller. The breaks and ...

      ... of us. We enjoyed soup, spring rolls, rice, a beef dish and mango for afters. When we had finished and were ready to go the maids came in asking for photos with us, again novelty white people. I enjoyed it!

      As soon as we had finished we were straight into town. Rodel had been waiting outside in the Mitsubishi Pajero (4x4) to take us to Manila.
