      One Last Peep

We woke up to sunshine which was the first we had seen in days so I was sort of feeling torn between racing home or spending a few moments checking out the Lake. We asked for some suggestions from the front desk and got a great tip to take the scenic drive up Prospect Mountain which was literally a few blocks away. The drive cost $10 but had several view points out over the lake ...

This morning we left Smuggs. I have to tell you I didn't care for this town. Mom was fine with it and the advantage was the gorgeous Smuggler’s Notch but I wish I would have just paid the extra money and stayed in Stowe. It was raining slightly as we packed to leave. Johnstown is close by, not surprisingly, a small typical US town "out in the sticks". Health and Safety would probably condemn the place; it ...

... squats and lunges and a few others but felt good afterwards.

Little bit of housework (washing again) before heading out for dinner.

We have been daring and booked a hotel in New York City. Comfort Inn at Manhattan Bridge. They gave a good rate for a 3 night stay, Friday night to Monday morning. They have parking attached and Wes feels he should be able to drive us there. We will have our walking shoes on to cover all the sights. Will even go out at night!

... impressed and were concerned that their children were frightened by the performance. Hotel staff were not impressed either and the lady and child were quietly taken outside. There were several Latino mothers with very young children as well as school aged kids. One lady had a 3 month old baby, another was very pregnant. The kids were having breakfast and the older ones were ready for the school bus. Later other families with fathers and mothers came into the small breakfast ...
