          Great Hotel

          from

My husband and stayed at the Rio park Hotel for a week. Rooms basic but very clean, maids cleaned the room every day. The food was fantastic, there was a wide variation, I read of bad reports of the food, all I can say these people who made these remarks must have been really picky eaters. There are plenty of sunbeds you really don't have to put your towel out at 6am in the morning "only if you want a poolside view". All the staff are very helpful. GOOD VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY 2* HOTEL MORE LIKE A 3* We hope to go back for Christmas, if not we are definately going back next year.

          Good Hotel

          from

Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at the Rio Park and we thought it was a reasonably good hotel. The room was clean and we had a good view from the balcony. However, we went half board but spent most of the time eating out becuase the food was not very good. The waiter and reception service was very friendly.

Our second pilgrimage is over, A very different experience, the good and the bad, the heat, cold and incessant at times rain. The quite often loneliness of being just 3 for kilometre after kilometre. The lack of watering holes and accommodation, even when found could be freezing. But... The amazing places - Fatima, Tomar, Coimbra, Porto, Rondella, Ponte Vendra, to mention a few. The wonderful cheap food and wine in Portugal. We certainly intend to return soon and enjoy at ...

We’re pleased we’ve been, but we’re moving straight on, to try and beat the rain.

Took a lovely picture of a sandcastle work of art (we’ve seen similar before, but this was spectacular) and Penny took a photo of the view she would like to remember, mountains rather than the ...

... that it was very strange. I also saw a rock in the middle of the sea which reminded me of a sinking ship. We walked up to the end of the beach. At the end, there was a tiny beach that had no waves but it was guarded by a lifeguard. I didn't understand why that beach even needed a lifeguard. We walked up to point where I could see lots of tall buildings. We went ...

... a tram going past the beach every once in the while. The water temperature was quite warm, So I was able to stay in the water for quite a long time. Luckily, it wasn't windy, so dad and I were able to play soccer on the beach. When we got hot playing soccer, we jumped back into the water. There were many fish in the water. The most of them were a decent size. I was so exited and tried to catch one but it ...

After that, we tried to find the entrance of the path that led to the castle which was located on top of a mountain in the middle of the town. We finally made it to the entrance of the path after searching for a while. At the entrance, Mitsuki nearly stepped on a snake. We started walked up. It was a steep walk but we kept walking. We walked along the the wall. There was ...
