... down I could feel my hands getting sweaty. There was also a heart monitor in front of you and before the ride started my heart rate was at 98 and then it went up to 113 (from what I could see) while going upside down on the loop. We joined the tour at 5pm and had to pay just 4 Euros extra per person with the Hochschwarzwald Card. The tour was quite long and extensive including a separate group of Americans. After the ubiquitous promotional video, we saw the bottling area, the holding silos and the fermentation tanks with the ...

... entire length of the lake and a small railway bridge cuts off an arm of the lake. We stopped in a café overlooking the bridge for some coffee and cake, which was fantastic. On the way back we continued along the Jaegersteig, a local hike before cutting back to the camp ground.

I brought the little trangia stove along for some camp cooking and we had some Maultaschen Suppe for dinner. The perfect end to a great start!
