Ahhh Crete. One of the many fantastic places I have been wanting to visit during my time here in Greece. My journey began with a ten hour ferry ride from Peiraeus to Heraklion (Athens to Crete). We checked out Rethymnont today which was a nice stop. Tons of shops and restaurants and we had a nice meal at Melody restaurant. At the hotel, I was called reception asking for feather pillows. She said they had a pillow menu and named off about 7 different pillow types but then said for you I recommend the 'anti-aging' pillow. Day 260 - Last Day in Crete

To our pleasant and succulent surprise it was not Raki rather a mouth-watering chocolate cake with fresh vanilla ice cream. We resisted licking the plate!
