An early start this morning and as usual we got an earlier train , which was boarding in 5 mins, so we arrived in Dover before we had left France.
The worst thing that struck us was the awful state of the English roads. The concrete M20 is diabolical. What on earth foreign visitors must think - its an awful welcome to the country.

So with only two weeks left until departure day it's time to start the daunting task of packing my bag! Tried giving "what to take on a world tour" a quick Google and I'm now faced with even more confusion. Taking between 2-14 t-shirts. 2-6 pairs of trousers, but no jeans (I swear I only wear jeans :/ ) No shorts because I'll look like a tourist. Hiking boots, flip-flops, trainers, wellies and chunky/jogging socks. 4 torches and a cowboy hat, useful much?
