... amp; Fitness and a dry couple of months from here on in.

4 months to eat & drink; a gluttony of tasty dishes & alcoholic cocktails & a beer a day all around the world, enjoying the greatest of company on our mighty mission: to stop off & see everyone along our route - right round the roundabout and around the world too.

Massive cheers & Huge thanks to each & everyone of you who has shared & ...

Departure day

That "don't know what to do with myself" feeling, combined with excitement and clock watching is upon us all! Only 5 hours til Grandad Chris picks us up, 7 until we are at the airport and just 10 hours until we fly!! The last 6 weeks since booking have moved quickly, and I am sure the holiday will fly by- but a 2 week roller coaster holiday will leave us with amazing memories and grant us opportunities to experience ...

... It was quite handy to go get 600 doxycycline pills because we were traveling in malaria ridden countries or to get 300 of this or that. Usually I could get one thing or another for my husband also without him having to make an additional appointment. We always did the research and then the doctor wrote the prescription. So with only two weeks left until departure day it's time to start the daunting task of packing my bag! Tried giving "what to take on a world tour" a quick Google and I'm now faced with even more confusion. Taking between 2-14 t-shirts. 2-6 pairs of trousers, but no jeans (I swear I only wear jeans :/ ) No shorts because I'll look like a tourist. Hiking boots, flip-flops, trainers, wellies and chunky/jogging socks. 4 torches and a cowboy hat, useful much?

... During the next day I didn't do much, but when I did it was to take thee family dog for a walk through the Barton hills, it was a nice walk although cloudy and uninspiring. During the night we ducked into the local pub for a few beers with some of Jack's mates and then before I knew it we were up at 5.30 the following morning heading back in to London.

So after these minor events, I am now embarking on a trip through Germany, Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
