... area, the parking lots at the businesses were full, lots of activity going on, an old RV park that is normally a ghost town was overflowing with rigs. We were told that they are "suffering" through a 4% unemployment rate. The oilfields are active with pulling units and drilling rigs - a very good sight to see!

... They gave us a list of other campgrounds in the area, as they were the only listing in the campground book. The first one we called had 1 space left, so we took it. We will make reservations for the next two nights. the 3rd night is already reserved and we don't have to worry about any reservations until June 1, as the tour company has done that. Many Tracks in the Sand
... for our hot water line to freeze up, but we get by easily, what with the stovetop and the microwave to heat water for washing the dishes. The camp restrooms and showers were in order, so no problem there. Several of the camp hydrants had frozen last night, so there's no water available anyway.
