    ... forward so we didn't have to much pitching to put up with. So that's the end of the 2014 world cruise on the Dawn Princess 104 days. Seems like a long time ago when we first started but at the same time it's gone so quick, we had a great time and enjoyed sailing on the Princess cruise line, recommend them to any body that fancies ...

    ... it's amazing what a great experience "sharing" can be! The BA flight attendants and in flight service was exceptional.....and the pilots were great (we didn't' hit anything!)

    Australia will always be home ......and the world is home also !

    We feel oh so lucky to be alive !

    ... market with cheap fakes and pretty much anything you could want. We were expecting a pretty farmers market type with fresh local produce and good coffee and cake.........we did not find it here! lol Anyway, back to Darling Harbour, Douglas decided he would like to do sea world to see the sharks so we headed off to do that.     ... protest, joined by pensioners, to voice their concern over the cuts in education and the rising costs. The masses were shouting and carrying signs while marching past our hotel. They were accompanied by TV crews, mounted police on horseback and at least a 100, probably more, police on foot. They are concerned about health care and the age at which retirement can be collected. Sounds familiar.

    ... America followed. Towards the end, in Bolivia and Peru, we started falling in love with the place. It brought back the memories we had from Africa. The landscape diversity is mind blowing. Initially we thought Europe was about history and churches but the more we squeezed into the day the more we got out of it.
