What a spiritually abundant family I have. Uncle Jo has been doing so well since his kidney transplant and has his vigor back, plus some.
I was telling Aunty about my ebay exploits and she suggested we hit the op shops in her area, as there are 5 ...

... Niki and Jim live, and also Katoomba, and went to Echo Point with its stunning lookout over the Three Sisters rock formation. At Niki’s suggestion, the following morning, we did a short hike to the Minnehaha Falls. The area was completely deserted so Dean took the opportunity to get at one with nature and jumped in the waterfall to cool down. On exiting the very cold water, it certainly was a case of “mini” and “ha ha” ...

... flight took off at 2pm and lasted fourteen hours; I passed the majority of this time by watching four films more or less back-to-back: The Hangover, State of Play, 17 Again, and I Love You Man. Bloody lovely.
After flying over the South Pole and crossing the International Date Line from east to west, I arrived in Sydney at a local time of 6pm, meaning I had lost a whole thirteen hours and therefore 10 September didn't really happen for me. Once going through Immigration and ...
... happen along an interesting sight; another one of those that I don't believe you'll find in the guidebooks. We were going down this street and I was taking note of some of the residential buildings when all the sudden I saw all of these white bird flocking around this rooftop, where an elderly woman was feeding them. Guess what the white birds were??? Cockatoos! Yellow-crested cockatoos. About a dozen or so of them in the wild. You ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia trockieCaught the ferry to the zoo. Taronga Zoo is ment to have the best view for a zoo in the world - it is quite impressive, you get glimpses of the city, bridge and opera house from different points around the zoo.
We didn't bother focusing on the non australian animals as Becky said 'we can see spider monkeys in england'. The animals were quite active today - we ...

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia michelle02... freedom for the last 24 hours! About 10 of us were all staying in a suburb of Melbourne called Balaclava, in the back garden of Leeanne's friend's house in a big 10 man tent, which was great as it was around the corner from the Grand Prix and it saved us a fortune in hostel costs - as well as being a lovely wee house, with lovely wee owners! On Sunday morning we were awoken by the sounds of F1 cars practising, the noise was incredible and there's nothing like ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia katandstevie... Sydney you can fly anywhere. Get to the outback if your into it, if mountains and lush landscapes are more for you go to Victoria, drive along the great ocean road, go to Melbourne and Watch the Mighty North Melbourne Kangaroos defeat whoever they are playing against in the AFL at the Melbourne cricket ground.
