          ... continued on and she ended here at mile 137 as well. The day was perfect for hiking. It finally cleared up and the temperature was not too hot, maybe a high of 79 today. The trail climbed up to 5600 feet today. The flora transitioned from riparian in the canyon, to chaparral, and juniper-manzanita scrub. We eventually descended back to 3500 feet.           ... to meet another old friend, Rhonda, formerly a co-worker of mine at the credit union. Unfortunately, her husband wasn't feeling well and wasn't able to meet us, but we had a lovely lunch at VINEYARD ROSE - the winery's restaurant, and one who's name I particularly liked!
