... stylish kind. Doilies are under lamps, and dark wooden furniture waits to be filled with clothes. we are both deeply in love with this place. everyone is lovely and everything is perfect. they have a school, a small local shop and a total lack of any chain stores. no Walgreens, no Walmart, no hypermarkets, and no feckin' Subway!!! after a peaceful nights sleep, we wake and head down to the cutest breakfast room ever. real china ...
... but it is also part of the fun.

... My friends here have said that I have a funny accent now... I have definitely had to check myself at restaurants so that I don't yell "yogio" to get the waitress to come to my table. Side note: I wish it were socially acceptable in the U.S. to demand that your waiter/waitress comes to your table by yelling for them. If we could yell "come here!" across a restaurant, it would save the frustration that occurs when your waitress forgets about you ...
