I spent the rest of the day walking around exploring the parts of the city I hadn't yet seen (apart from Powell's books where I couldn't resist going again. Although I did have to leave fairly sharpish as I felt my resolve disintegrating). I found a place called Moonstruck chocolate that had been recommended by Julie on my ...

... the trailer there, under the Pitres' watchful eye, just taking the truck into Portland. McMenamin's Crystal Palace Hotel, where we going to stay, let us drop our bags off there and park the truck for the duration (8 am-1 pm the next day for only $25, such a deal!) and we hustled off to the Brewers' Brunch at the Bridgeport Brewhouse, making it just in time for the 9 am start!
