Yesterday the boys both had a triple Baconator for lunch at Wendy's. With fries and a bucket of coke. Apparently it was another must for them.
We enjoyed drinks with our neighbours last night, and had a wonderful time at Bill's Place, the jazz club. As per request, we took our own hooch ( a huge bottle of Australian riesling) and some nibbles. The capacity of the place is about 30, and it was full and swinging.
... time but got on the train with just enough time to get us seated at the stadium before (kickoff??). Our seats were right at the back with the families which meant kids, screaming screaming kids. But the upside of this was that there was sexy cheerleaders getting the kids going so in the boring bits of the hockey we just watched them. The game was between the Montreal Canadiens and the Florida Panthers and being that we were in Montreal we were cheering for them. ...
Another poor nights sleep. I don't know whats up with my sleeping pattern. It's like I've been set to Vampire mode. Tired in the day can't drop off at night. I'll probably start glittering next or whatever it is they do in Twilight. An uneventful short journey and I'd gotten to Ottawa dim problemo. Whilst getting across town however I made the school boy error of not having any big change to hand so had to burn a $5 note on the bus. The driver suggested I chip in another ...
... the French in Canada thing is confusing to the head; I even heard someone walking in the street saying "thats because we're in France...". How very confusing it can be. Not the reason; Paris is extremely French and although I like the look of the place, I'm not keen on it.
