On the bright side I didn't gain 20 pounds. Turns out I actually lost 2 pounds! Ah so the magic to weight loss is to eat your ass off and not work out. Ah I joke...*sob*...remember muscle is heavier than fat...so I guess my muscle loss to fat gain ratio was slightly above 1.

Time for the long journey back to fitness...

Also ran a 6 minute mile on the treadmill today, unintentionally. Initially I was going for the 3 minute, half mile warm up. When I got to the half mile I only felt moderately warmed up so I decided to keep going. At the 3/4 mile point I was thoroughly warmed up (overheating to be exact), but I mean at that point you might ...

Three cheers to peer pressure! Peace and Milkshakes, Tom ...

So if you're easily offended (or don't know me very well), I'd think twice before reading these. That's all for today. I need to start drafting for my fantasy football league. Damn it, hopefully they broadcast NFL games in China. Peace and Enjoy, Tom ...

... The menu featured 21 house brews. Twenty one. All starkly different from each other. I tried three of them: Mars (a double IPA, and the first in a new series of beer they're producing based on Gustav Holst's The Planets), Bright Size Life (wheat ale), and Kal-Haven (rye ale). My favorite was the Kal-Haven, but they were all spectacular in their own way. And what's better, most of their 12oz. glasses were under $3! Can't get much better than that. I really ...
